However, when we were first introduced to Jurlique, we could tell there was much more to this brand than a collection of dressing table decorators. The extensive range of nature driven products are heavily focused on essential oils and botanical ingredients, giving them natural properties and fresh scents. One of the nicest things about Jurlique is that they remain very true to their roots: the Australian brand started out by growing their natural ingredients in the Adelaide Hills, which is still very much the case today.

We haven't yet got round to trying out all of these nature driven products, but we have been sampling what this whole potent and pure beauty experience is like with the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist. For those of you not familiar with this product, it's much loved for being a light, hydrating toner which incorporates the classic Jurlique rose scent - all in a refreshing spritz. Two of our beauty obsessed writers, Veebs and Anna, have been trialing this product for the past two months in order to share their real thoughts.

"I found the Rosewater Mist to be a perfect solution to freshen my skin after completing my daily cleansing regime. I also found it to be a great substitute product for replacing my moisturizer on those days I didn't want to put too much on my skin. I have very sensitive skin therefore I usually prefer fragrance-free products, but I found this scent to be very appealing with its sweet flower scent - very natural and reminded me of aromatherapy. On another note, I felt that the transparent shape of the bottle makes it aesthetically pleasing, it's such a lovely product to look at! The pink tinted water also adds to the uniqueness of the product, which makes me think of it as an ideal skincare product to use for summer – light and refreshing to the face."Veebs Comments:
"Generations of women have been using rose water as part of their daily skin care regime in India; my own Mom encourages its use because its suitable for all skin types - but I never understood the hype until now. The Jurlique rosewater mist is beautiful. It has a romantic scent of pot-pourri and prevents my skin from feeling tight. The distribution of the product isn’t very wide, so it requires several spritzes to cover my entire face and décolletage, but I don’t mind. I’ve been using it daily for 7 weeks and I’m not even halfway through the bottle yet!"With the sweetest sounding ingredients such as natural rose essential oils (Rosa Centifolia & Rosa Damascenae), marshmallow, aloe and grapefruit, it actually comes across as a rather indulgent product!

Alongside the Rosewater Balancing Mist, Jurlique also have some other refreshing mists including the Lavender Hydrating Mist, and the Calendula Redness Rescue Calming Mist, which deliver different properties to the Rosewater. We're hoping to give the Lavender Mist a go next, especially to see if it doubles up to make a great pillow spray at night to help us fall asleep more quickly!
